CHOMMIES REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY
We want you (and your dog) to be completely happy with your Chommies purchase. If something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to make it better.


Proof of Purchase is Required
All returns, refunds, or exchanges must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. This includes your invoice number, date of purchase, and item details. Without this information, we are unable to process any return or exchange. This policy ensures fairness and accuracy for all customers, and helps us resolve your request as efficiently as possible. Please keep your invoice safe. No invoice, no return.


HOW TO RETURN
If you bought online:
Email us at hello@chommies.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
Please include:
– Your invoice number
– Your name & address
– The item you’re returning
– Reason for return

If you bought from one of our stockists:
Please return the item directly to the stockist where you made your purchase, following their own returns and exchange policy. We're unable to process returns, exchanges, or repairs for items purchased through stockists, they'll be best placed to help you.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
You may choose:
– A refund (excluding shipping)
– A store credit
– An exchange for a different size/colour/product (price differences may apply)
To qualify, items must:
– Be clean and unused
– Include original packaging
– Be returned with proof of purchase
We do not accept returns on custom-made or personalised items (like engraved tags).


SHIPPING COSTS
You’re responsible for return shipping unless the product is faulty or not the item you ordered.
We recommend using a tracked, insured service. The item is your responsibility until we receive it.

FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If something arrives damaged or not as ordered, we’ll make it right.
Email hello@chommies.com with your order number, and we’ll guide you from there. Returns for incorrect goods must be made within 30 days.

You can drop off returns at any of the following:

The House of CHOMMIES – Cape Town
110 Hatfield Street, Gardens | Mon–Fri, 10am–4pm

OZCF Market – Waterfront
Haul Road, Granger Bay | Sat–Sun, 8am–2pm

Or post/courier your return to us. Include your name, invoice number and contact details, and hold on to your proof of postage.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
You’ll need to return your item to our South African concept store at your own cost.

Please note:

– We can’t refund original shipping, duties or taxes

– You’ll need to cover any costs for return and re-delivery


CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
If we need to cancel your order (due to events beyond our control), you’ll be notified in writing and refunded in full within 30 days.

A FEW FINAL NOTES
– Please make sure your dog is clean when trying on collars, we can’t accept used or dirty returns.
– Refunds will go to the person who paid for the order.
– Engraved brass tags are non-refundable.
– Colours shown online may differ slightly from real-life products.
